How to get a Certificate of Good Standing from the State of Alaska

A Certificate of Good Standing in the State of Alaska is also called a Certificate of Compliance. You can order by fax, mail, in person or online, but we recommend online. Normal processing takes up to 2 weeks, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $10. Expedited processing is not available. However, if you order online you will be able to print out the requested document as soon as the payment has been processed.

In Person:

Requests are taken in person, however, will still be processed in the order it was received through the Juneau office only. Any requests received by the Anchorage office will be sent to the Juneau office for processing.

Online:

Go to their website to order a Certificate of Good Standing online. Registration for online orders must be established with a credit card to use this option. The website will walk you through the process. Once the online order is complete, you can print out the Certificate of Good Standing in .pdf format immediately.

It will be mailed by regular mail, unless you request otherwise and provide a pre-addressed prepaid envelope or Fed Ex account number. Return service by fax or email is not available.
