How to order an Apostille Certificate from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

An original or certified copy is required. You can order a certified copy of your articles and request an Apostille at the same time. Normal processing takes up to 10 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $6.00. Expedited service is not available. Always provide the name of the country needing a Massachusetts Apostille or Certificate of Authentication.

You can order

Cover letter must include the name of the country, payment, self-addressed prepaid envelope for the documents be mailed to you after processing, and a daytime phone number for possible questions. You must enclose an original or certified copy of the document, or a request for a certified copy of the document.

A maximum of three documents will be processed per customer while you wait. Four or more will be processed by 3:00 p.m. the next day. You must provide the country name and a certified copy or original document. You will want to have your payment handy.

Do you need to order a certified copy at the same time or does the fee include a certified copy?

A certified copy can be ordered at the same time. If you are ordering a certified copy at the same time, you will want to make note of such on your copy request. This fee does not include a certified copy.

How much does it cost to obtain a Massachusetts Apostille?

$6.00 per document signature for normal processing.

Is expedited processing available?

No. However, for fast mailing you may provide a Fed Ex or UPS account number.
