An original or certified copy is required. You can order a certified copy of your articles and request an Apostille at the same time, but a separate check for fees is required. We recommend mailing the order. Normal processing takes up to 2 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $2.00. Expedited service is not. Always provide the name of the country needing a Vermont Apostille or Certificate of Authentication.

Do you need to order a certified copy at the same time or does the fee include a certified copy?

A certified copy can be ordered at the same time. However, a separate check for the Apostille fee is required. This fee does not include a certified copy.
