A lot of people ask us about Wyoming Bank accounts. When forming a Wyoming LLC or Wyoming Corporation there is no need to actually have your bank account be in Wyoming.

Wells Fargo for instance is easy to get a bank account with wherever you are located in. You’ll need articles of organization or articles of incorporation, initial resolutions, and an operating agreement or bylaws to show the bank when opening.

When we form the Wyoming LLC or Wyoming Corporation for you, there is specific language in the operating agreement or bylaws authorizing the members to open a bank account. Some banks want a resolution from the members or shareholders authorizing you to open a bank account. This is a simple paragraph basically saying just that. It is in your operating agreement. If a banker gives you problems opening a business bank account and wants resolutions, just write out what they want you to at the bank and sign it. A resolution can be written on a napkin if really needed…
