What are the options and different ways you can change your Mississippi registered agent?
The only way to change your Mississippi registered agent is by completing a change of agent form and submitting it to the Office of the Mississippi Secretary of State (SOS). In order to accept the appointment, the new registered agent has to sign the change of agent form or attach a statement of consent. You can submit the change of agent form by mail or in person. Include the filing fee with your change of agent form, payable to the Secretary of State.
Mississippi SOS does not allow you to change your Mississippi Registered Agent on the annual report form or by filing an amendment.

Once documents are filed, you can view them online by going to the SOS Business Services website and click the “Search Listings” link. Then you can search for your business name, ID, officers or registered agent to see the corporation or LLCs filed documents.
