What are the options and different ways you can change your Nebraska registered agent?

To change your Nebraska registered agent, you must fill out a change of agent/address form and submit it to the Nebraska Secretary of State (SOS).

Foreign corporations: File the Foreign Change of Registered Agent and/or Office

Domestic corporations: File the Domestic Change of Registered Agent and/or Office

LLCs:  File Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office Limited Liability Company

The change of agent forms must be filed in duplicate with the Nebraska SOS.

How much does it cost to change your registered agent in Nebraska?

There is a $25 filing fee to change your corporations registered agent in Nebraska.  For most documents, there is an additional $5 per page recording fee. So the total cost to file will be $30.

There is a $10 filing fee to change your LLCs registered agent there is also the $5 per page recording fee which brings the cost to $15.
