How to get a Certificate of Good Standing from the Kansas Secretary of State
The State of Kansas provides a Certificate of Good Standing or a Letter of Good Standing. A Letter of Good Standing is uncertified. You can order by fax, mail, phone, in person or online, but we recommend online. Normal processing takes up to 3 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $20.00. Expedited service is not available because online processing is immediate.

By Mail:You will want to provide the business name, payment, specific request and a daytime phone number for any questions.
By Fax:You will want to provide the business name, specific request and a daytime phone number for any questions on a normal fax cover sheet. You can provide your credit card by fax or by phone.
By Phone:Called in requests are accepted and they can give you a specific timeframe for processing. You will want to have the business name and credit card handy when making your call.
In Person:Requested documents can usually be provided the same day, but may take up to 3 days. You will want to have your payment handy.
