Normal processing takes up to 4 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs up to $11.00. Expedited service is available for up to $10.00 more and should take less than 1 day, plus additional time for mailing.

Requests by mail cannot be expedited. You will want to provide the order form, payment, return address information, specific request and a daytime phone number for any questions.

Online:

Go to their website and follow the instructions provided to search and request a certificate. Your order will be processed within one business day and returned by mail. You can provide a Fed Ex or UPS account number in the special instructions section for faster return service. You will want to have your credit card handy.

In Person:

Requested documents will be provided while you wait at no additional charge. Documents can usually be provided within 1 hour. Since they close at 4:00 pm, they recommend that you arrive prior to 3:00 pm. You will want to have your payment handy.


How much does it cost to obtain a certified copy of Minnesota Articles of Incorporation or Minnesota Articles of Organization?

$18.00 online processing (original filing only).
$21.00 online processing (original filing plus all amendments).
$8.00 for normal processing (original filing only).
$11.00 for normal processing (original filing plus all amendments).


Is expedited processing available?

Yes. An expedited service fee of $10.00 is required, in addition to the regular fee. However, expedited processing is available online only.
