How to get a Certificate of Good Standing from the Mississippi Secretary of State
A certificate of good standing in the State of Mississippi can be ordered by mail, in person, or online, but we recommend online. Online processing costs $27.00 and is immediate. However, if you do not have an established e-account, you will need to set that up first. Normal processing takes up to 2 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $25.00. Expedited service is not available.

Online:
Go to their website and follow the instructions provided to sign up for an e-account by clicking on Register for Online Order (far left of the screen), if you do not have one. You will want to call to complete the sign up process. Once your account is set up, you will be able to search and print a certificate. You will be able to authenticate, view and print the certificate yourself right away.
By Mail:
You will want to provide the business name, payment, return address information, specific request and a daytime phone number for any questions. You can request that they return the certificate to you by fax for an additional $5.00 fee.
In Person:Requested documents will be provided while you wait. You will want to have your payment handy.
