doctor Can be used by: a Corporation or LLC, if used in a context which clearly denotes a purpose other than the practice of medicine; a Professional Corporation whose shareholders are exclusively doctors; a Nonprofit Corporation whose membership is exclusively doctors; a university faculty practice corporation (formed under Article 14 of the N-PCL); or a Nonprofit Corporation that is a foundation organized for the sole purpose of publishing the literary works of a deceased person to identify the person whose works are to be published.
lawyer Can be used by: a Corporation or LLC, if used in a context which clearly denotes a purpose other than the practice of law; a Professional Corporation whose shareholders are exclusively lawyers; or a Nonprofit Corporation whose membership is exclusively lawyers.
