Incorporating New York Corporations

To incorporate a New York Corporation will cost a minimum of $135.00 (additional fees apply for over 200 shares no par value or a par value of all authorized shares over $20,000) State filing fee.

The New York Department of State, will take about 2-3 business weeks to process your New York Corporation certificate of incorporation unless you pay an extra expedite fee and then they will process in 24 business hours or less. If you need a federal tax ID number, that can be obtained online immediately with the IRS.

A New York corporation must have a corporate ending in the name. You can choose one of the following or an abbreviation: corporation, incorporated, or Limited.

New York Corporations are governed by New York Laws – Articles 1-20, Business Corporation.
