How to get a Certificate of Good Standing from the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission

A certificate of good standing in the State of New Mexico is called a Certificate of Compliance. You can order by mail or in person, but we recommend mailing. Normal processing takes up to 10 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $10.00 or more, depending on the type of business entity. Expedited service is not available, but in person service is while you wait at no additional charge.

Requested documents can usually be provided while you wait. Only one business name request processed per day. You will want to have your payment handy.

How much does a New Mexico Certificate of Good Standing cost?

$50.00 for normal processing (profit corporations).
$25.00 for normal processing (LLCs).
$10.00 for normal processing (non-profit corporations).

Is expedited processing available?

No. However, in person requests are processed while you wait. Only one request is accepted per day.
