How to order a certified copy of Articles of Organization or a certified copy of Articles of Incorporation from the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission

A certified copy of your Articles of Organization or Articles of Incorporation can be ordered by fax, mail or in person, but we recommend faxing. Normal processing takes up to 10 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $10.00, plus $1.00 per page, or more depending on the type of business entity. Expedited service is not available, but in person service is while you wait at not additional charge.

You will want to provide the Order Form including the business name, return address information, specific request and a daytime phone number for any questions. Do not send any money. They will call you with an amount due once the documents have been processed. Then you will need to either mail a check or money order, or bring in payment before the documents will be returned to you. Providing a Fed Ex or UPS account number will speed return mailing.

By Fax:

You will want to provide the Order Form business name, return address information, specific request and a daytime phone number for any questions on a normal fax cover sheet. They will call you with an amount due once the documents have been processed. Then you will need to either mail a check or money order, or bring in payment before the documents will be returned to you. Providing a Fed Ex or UPS account number will speed return mailing.

In Person:

Requested documents can usually be provided while you wait. You will want to have your payment handy.


How much does it cost to obtain a certified copy of New Mexico Articles of Incorporation or New Mexico Articles of Organization?

$25.00 for certification, plus $1.00 per page but no less than $10.00, for normal processing (any profit corporation or LLC).
$10.00 for certification, plus $1.00 per page but no less than $5.00, for normal processing (non-profit corporation only).


Is expedited processing available?

No. However, in person requests are usually processed while you wait.
