How do I get my certificate of incorporation recorded in Louisiana?
Your corporate documents must be recorded in the Parish where your Louisiana Registered Agent office is located. Within thirty (30) days after filing the Articles of Incorporation and Initial Report with the Louisiana Secretary of State, you will need to record the documents along with a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation, with the Clerk of Court in your agent’s parish. As soon as your articles and report are processed by the Louisiana Secretary of State, you will be sent a Certificate of Incorporation. You will have to deliver a copy of the certificate, along with either multiple originals or certified copies of the Articles of Incorporation and Initial Report, to the clerk of court for recording.
