Registered Agent Inc

Incorporations need a registered agent. Recently we have seen a company called Registered Agent Inc from Carson City Nevada send out propositions to our clients trying to get them to pay high fees and file their annual reports. Many of these notices are not even accurate. They are nothing more than an attempt to get you to pay them for not really doing anything for you except change your registered agent to registered agent inc. From looking at their website, you’ll see their registered agent fees are quite high.

This is a common scam in our industry. People send out official notices that look like they come from the actual governing state agency. They will quote some code and use the same font as a state agency does. They’ll tell you that you have a report due or something like that.
