To begin the reinstatement proceedings you must go to Louisiana Secretary of State Website, Corporations tab and click on Search Database. Type in your company name and select the reinstatement. A prepopulated form with your business information and instructions will be ready for you to finish online or print out and mail in with the filing fee. You must also file your last annual report.

How much will it cost to revive a Louisiana LLC?

A reinstatement of Louisiana Limited Liability Company requires a $75 filing fee, and the annual report includes a $25 fee.

How long does it take the state to process the filing?

Regular processing is one week to ten days. You can request the expedited option that processes your reinstatement in approximately one day for an additional $30.00.

How long does your Louisiana LLC have to be inactive with the state before you wouldn’t have any fees, and would just have to start over with a new Louisiana LLC?
