Pros
- One of the nice things about doing business in Georgia is their online web portal. You can make original filings online and your annual reports are only filed online and take place immediately.
- Georgia is also not very expensive with their original filing fees and ongoing filing fees.
Cons
- A lot of counties in Georgia are highly regulatory. There are many counties that regulate business licenses.
- Georgia requires corporations to publish in a newspaper. Publishing in newspapers is and always will be a completely pointless procedure for new businesses. The only reason for this is that lobbyists for the newspapers are probably too powerful to get this silly practice out of the laws of Georgia.
