You also can fax your amendment with form 807 with your credit card information.

No. Certificate of Formation of a For-Profit Corporation costs twice as much as an amendment. Your state franchise tax could be unnecessarily complicated also.

You can change your business name and change your Texas registered agent information. You also can add, alter or delete any specific original articles.

Yes. You are allowed to add, alter or delete any original articles, which include your officers and directors.

Can you change the Texas registered agent on

Yes. Do it in Section 2 of the amendment.

Can you change the principal office address
and/or the
mailing address on a corporation amendment?

Yes. Article 2C states your business address in your original formation document. Just check “Alter” in Section 3 and list the new address.
