Washingtion Annual Renewal Filing Instructions

How to file your Washingtion Corporations Division Annual Report:

You can renew your license for a Washington State corporation or Washington LLC or any business registered to do work in Washington online.

You'll need your UBI number and password, which is right in the middle of the notice you receive from the Washington Department of Licensing. The Washington Department of Licensing handles the annual reports for the Washington Secretary of State.

You can make changes to all your information except the registered agent online. If you need to change the registered agent, there is a spot on the back of the form to fill it out. If you need to change your registered agent to the Northwest Registered Agent, we would be glad to help you accomplish this.

Because the signatures are on the back, it makes it impossible to fax into the state or email back and forth between your new agent. You can get your annual report filed and keep everything as is with your agent. You can then send in a statement of change of your registered agent. This normally costs $10.00. If you send this in within 60 days of filing your annual report and mark so on the top, they will waive the filing fee.

When is the Washington Annual Report due?

At the end of the month of the anniversary month you initially filed. So if you filed your initial company with the Washington Secretary of State on January 1, 2007, your next report will be due January 30, 2008.
