If you're going to file in the commonwealth of Virginia, the following information might be useful for you.
No fax filing or online filing; the filings need to be mailed in with payment. Your Virginia registered agent does not have to sign any of the filings made. You just need to list our name and address as your Virginia registered agent and check the box for an entity acting as agent.
You will receive a certificate back at your Virginia registered agent office, unless you specify to have it mailed somewhere else. If you elect to have us receive it, we will forward it on to you right away. We scan this into your online account immediately.
Annual reports will be mailed to your Virginia Registered Agent. Corporations must file the annual report and pay the Virginia annual registration fee, a minimum of $25.00, by the last day of their filing anniversary month. LLCs do not have annual reports due, but they must pay the annual registration fee of $50.00 by the last day of their filing anniversary month.
