We have no hidden fees, a flat yearly price, we email a copy of everything we get on your behalf, send you reminders for keeping your company in good standing with the Virginia Corporation commission, and have a Virginia licensed attorney on staff if you ever need separate legal counsel.

We know the ins and outs of Virginia corporate filings, and can form your company for a flat fee of $100.00 plus state fees, OR if you wish to do the filing yourself, we will look over the filing for FREE, and make sure it looks ok before you file it.

As your Virginia Registered Agent, we provide a physical address in Virginia. We have a local licensed Virginia attorney on hand if the need ever arises, licensed in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. You will never get billed for partial minutes on something that you just called us on. You can hire our local Virginia Attorney direct if you need legal counsel in Virginia, or just need an attorney to go over some details with. By hiring Northwest Registered Agent as your Virginia agent, you don't have to worry about getting detailed bills for phone conversations, copies, or extra work. We charge a flat fee of $125.00 a year. That's it. When you call in, you get the owner of the company that answers the phone. If you need legal counsel if you get sued, that would obviously be billed on a separate basis.

If you're going to file in the commonwealth of Virginia, the following information might be useful for you.

Filings take about 7 days for the corporations commission to finish. If you are going to file a domestic Corporation or LLC the signatures do not have to be original inked signatures.

Foreign corporations or LLC filings have to be signed with original inked signatures.

There is no fax filing or online filing. The filings need to be mailed in with payment. Your Virginia registered agent does not have to sign any of the filings made. You just need to list our name and address as your Virginia registered agent.

You will receive a certificate back at your Virginia registered agent office, unless you specify to have it mailed somewhere else. If you elect to have us receive it, we will forward it on to you right away.

Foreign entities need to submit a certificate of good standing from their home state of incorporation dated within the last 12 months.

Domestic and foreign Virginia corporations cost $75.00 to have filed.

Domestic and foreign Virginia LLC's cost $100.00 to file

Your annual reports will be mailed to your Virginia Registered Agent. Corporations are due on the anniversary of your initial filing. They cost $100.00 plus a $75.00 minimum assessment of your property. This fee can go up depending on your situation. LLC's are all due September. You can file LLC annual reports as early as July. There is no annual report, just an annual fee of $50.00. You have to mail back the LLC annual report with payment.
