INFO ON HOW TO INCORPORATE IN COLORADO, OR REGISTER YOUR OUT OF STATE BUSINESS:

The Colorado Secretary of State would prefer you make your filings of any kind on their website. You can obtain a certificate of good standing for free online, but if you request it on paper, it costs $5.00.

The Colorado annual reports can be filed on-line for $10.00, but if you mail them in on paper, they will cost $100.00. Your Colorado Registered Agent will receive a post card a couple months prior to the anniversary of your filing, reminding you to file your annual report. By using Northwest Registered Agent as your Colorado Resident agent, you can be assured that this will not be overlooked.

If you would like to incorporate in Colorado, by forming a Domestic Colorado Corporation, or a Domestic Colorado LLC, you can do it on-line through the States website. You can appoint Northwest Registered Agent or anyone as your agent easily through that system.

Pay for our services for 2 years and we'll match any other agent's price.
If you would like to qualify a foreign LLC in Colorado, you have to do it by mail, or if you have a prepaid account with the Colorado Secretary of State, you can file by fax. You do not need the signature of your statutory agent, but your signature is needed, and it does not have to be an original signature. The filing fee for a foreign Colorado LLC is $125.00.

A Foreign Colorado Corporation will also cost $125.00 to file, and must be filed the same way as the LLC. You do not need Northwest Registered Agents signature to complete the filing. We can walk the document into the State if you are in a hurry.

Normal paper filings take 7-10 days to get completed. Any on-line filings will be completed immediately and you can verify it on their database by doing a name search for yourself. You will receive nothing back from the Colorado Secretary of State after your filing is completed. Your only verification is looking yourself up on-line.

If you would like to change your Colorado Registered Agent it can be accomplished by filing a statement of change, that cost's $10.00.

It is important to hire a Colorado Registered Agent you trust, because your annual report reminders go to the Colorado Resident Agent.
