Pros
- Arizona LLCs do not have annual reports. Very nice!
- Corporations have no filing fees for a lot of maintenance type filings.
- Well…. It’s a little cheaper than California?
Cons
- Major thumbs down for making foreign corporations produce certified copies of their articles. This is a major encumbrance for many Californians simply trying to do business in Arizona.
- Foreign corporations get put through the ringer; disclosure statements, copies of formation docs, publishing in the newspapers.
- Making new LLCs publish in newspapers has and always will be one of the dumbest redundant procedures for Arizona businesses.
