The Pros - (unless you make cars...)

The business climate in Michigan has been interesting this last decade to say the least.  The entire tax structure has been set up to tax the auto makers.  So companies with high amounts of assets and balance sheets end up paying a lot of tax, but the normal business owner or service type industry doesn’t have a lot of taxes due in MI.  Also with the economic downturn, a lot of office space is super cheap now.
