Pros
The best thing about doing business in Illinois is how much fun Chicago is. It is truly electric and full of life. Food, events, sports, outdoor lake activities, tons of colleges. Chicago is where it’s at for the Midwest.
Cons
Doing business in Illinois is horrible. The government is continually moving in the wrong direction; raising taxes dramatically, raising regulation, and raising fees. Some of our clients literally have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in annual report fees just to keep their company active with the Illinois Secretary of State. Big business is fleeing Illinois.
