How To Reinstate A Georgia Corporation
Reinstate Or Revive A Georgia Corporation:
An administratively dissolved Georgia corporation can apply for reinstatement within five years after it has been dissolved. If your corporation was administratively dissolved and you would like to reinstate, you can go to the Georgia SOS website to request a reinstatement application. Just go to the Secretary of State, Corporations Division homepage (see link below) and click on the link that says, Request for Reinstatement Application for Administratively Dissolved Entities. You will need your corporation’s Georgia business entity control number to create a reinstatement request. If you don’t know your number, there is a link on the log-in page you can follow to search for your company’s number. After you have logged on and entered your entity control number, you access the application for reinstatement form. Finally, after you verify the application information, you will be able to print your reinstatement application.
The Georgia SOS accepts check, certified bank check, or money order. Checks should be payable to “Secretary of State.” The Georgia SOS does not accept cash.
