How To Resign As A Registered Agent In Oklahoma
To resign as a registered agent in Oklahoma, you must send written notice of your resignation to the company you had been representing. Then, at least thirty days later, submit a Resignation of Registered Agent form to the Oklahoma Secretary of State, Business Filing Department online, by mail, fax or in-person with $25 for processing.
There are different forms depending on whether the business is domestic or foreign, the entity type (corporation, LLC, LP) and whether a successor agent is being appointed.
Processing time depends on method of submission: online filings are processed immediately, in-person filings are processed the same day if received by 4:30pm and mailed-in filings take 7-10 business days to process but may be expedited to same-day for an additional $25.

Items To Include On The Oklahoma Resignation Of Registered Agent
The following must be on the Oklahoma registered agent’s statement of resignation:
- Business entity
- State/jurisdiction of the entity’s incorporation/organization/formation
- If appointing a successor, provide the name and street address of the new registered agent
- Date that notice of the resignation was sent to the entity
- Last known address of the entity to which the resignation was sent
- Option to indicate a later effective date
- A statement that the agent resigns
- Date
- Name and signature of registered agent
- If appointing a successor registered agent, the statement must be signed by both the resigning agent and the president or vice president of the entity, attested to by its secretary or assistant secretary
