How to File Your Idaho Annual Report
You’ll need to complete the following steps in order to file your Idaho Annual Report.
- Determine your business’s due date.
- Complete your report online.
- File your report online OR print the completed document submit to the Idaho Secretary of State, Business Services.

Late Fees: Idaho doesn’t charge late fees for failing to file an annual report; however, if no report is submitted within 60 days following your due date, your business may be administratively dissolved. |
Don’t remember when you formed your business? You can look up your annual report due date by searching the Idaho Business Database. After clicking on your business’s name in the search results, your due date will be listed under the heading “AR Due Date.”
Filing Your Idaho Annual Report
The Idaho Annual Report can be submitted online, by mail, or in person. For all filing methods, you’ll need to visit the Idaho SOSbiz login page. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll need to create one by clicking “CREATE AN ACCOUNT.”
- Once you’re successfully logged in, select the “My Records” button on the left side of the screen.
- Then, select your business’s name.
- At the top of your screen, click the “File Annual Report” tab.
Here’s a list of information you’ll need to include, verify, and/or update on your Idaho Annual Report.
- Business name.
- Idaho business file number. You can easily find your business filing number by searching the Idaho Business Database.
- Principal business address.
- State your company was initially formed in.
- Old Idaho business file number, if applicable. Again, you can look this up by searching the Idaho Business Database.
- Registered agent name and address.
- Officer/director OR member/manager information. Include their name, title, and mailing address.
- Signature and title of the person filing the annual report.
On the final submission page, you’ll have the option of filing online OR printing a paper form to file by mail or in person.

Do I have to pay the state’s $20 manual processing fee for paper reports?
No. Only PDF documents downloaded from the website incur this fee. Annual reports and other documents completed within the web portal and then printed are not subject to this fee.
Who can file an Idaho Annual Report?
After starting a business in Idaho, any authorized person may sign the Idaho Annual Report. An authorized person is someone your business permits to act on its behalf. This could be someone within the business (such as a director or manager), or someone outside of the business that you hire to file your report.
