Late Fees: The state of Indiana doesn’t charge late fees for failing to file an entity report; however, your business may be dissolved or revoked if no report is submitted within 60 days after your due date. |

Filing Your Indiana Business Entity Report
You can file your Indiana Business Entity Report online or by mail. Either way, you’ll need to visit the Indiana Secretary of State website.
- On the state website, go to the Business Forms page.
- Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and click “Business Entity Reports.”
- You can choose to download a paper form OR file online.
- To file online, you’ll need to log into the Indiana INBiz page. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll need to create one by clicking “Sign Up Now.” Once you’re successfully logged in, you’ll immediately begin the filing process.
Here’s a list of everything you’ll need to include, update, and/or verify on your Indiana Business Entity Report:
- Business name and principal address. You can’t change your business name on the entity report. If you need to update your business’s name, you’ll need to file an amendment. There is $30 filing fee.
- Business registration information. Include the date you registered your company and the state you initially formed in.
- Business type.
- Registered agent name and address.
- Officer/director names and addresses – corporations and nonprofits only.
- Signature and title of the person filing the entity report.
Online submissions must be paid with a credit card. If you file by mail, you’ll need to include a check or money order made payable to “Secretary of State.”
