To make amendments to your Alaska corporation, you must submit the completed Articles of Amendment form, in duplicate, to the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business, and Professional Licensing by mail, fax or in person. If faxing your request, a Credit Card Payment Form is required. If you are mailing the amendment, you may include the form if you wish to pay by credit card. You may also pay by check or money order payable to the State of Alaska. The division does not require original signatures. You amendment may have faxed/electronic signatures.

Can you restate the initial articles instead of filing an amendment?

Yes. If you wish to restate the initial articles you must file the Restated Articles of Incorporation form, in duplicate, and pay the $25 filing fee.

Are there any specifics you can or can’t include with an Alaska corporation amendment?

You can make changes to the business name, shares and articles when you amend articles. However, you can’t change your corporation’s officers, principal address, or registered agent.
