To resign as a registered agent in Arizona, you must mail written notice of your resignation to the company that you had been representing at an address other than your own.
Then, submit a Statutory Agent Resignation form to the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) with payment for processing, if required, online, by mail, fax or in-person. The fee to resign as an Arizona registered agent varies by entity type (LLCs: free, corporations: $10). - To resign, the Arizona registered agent must mail written notice of their resignation to the company they had been representing. The registered agent cannot mail this notice to themselves; it must go to another address associated with the business (to a member, director or principal place of business).

- After the Arizona registered agent’s statement of resignation has been processed by the ACC, the Commission will mail one copy of the statement to the company’s known place of business, if not discontinued, and another copy to the principal office.
The Arizona registered agent’s resignation becomes effective on the 31st day after their statement is received by the Arizona Corporation Commission or upon appointment of a new registered agent, whichever comes first.
