How do I file the Arkansas Certificate of Amendment?

You can file your Arkansas Certificate of Amendment by mail, in person, or online. Submitting online? Visit the Arkansas Secretary of State website and go to the Corporations Online Filing System. Then, click “Certificate of Amendment” listed under Domestic LLC. You’ll need to enter your Arkansas filing number. If you need to find your number, you can search the Arkansas Business Database. Complete the online form and pay the filing fee with a credit card.

Mail or in-person filings can be paid with a check or money order made payable to Arkansas Secretary of State.

How much does it cost to file an Arkansas Certificate of Amendment?

Paper filings cost $25 to submit, and online submissions cost $22.50.

How long does it take Arkansas to process a Certificate of Amendment?

The processing time for an Arkansas Certificate of Amendment varies depending on how you file. Online submissions completed before 3:00 pm will be processed the same day. Anything after 3 pm will be processed the next day. Mailed filings will be processed within 48 hours after receipt. In-person filings will be processed the same day.

Can I restate the initial articles instead of filing an Arkansas Certificate of Amendment?
